Sonipat: Farmers are protesting against the Agriculture Act on the Singhu border of Delhi and Haryana. Sonepat District Magistrate Shyamlal Punia ordered to test the agitating farmers.

Punia has instructed the health department officials to compile a list of farmers with fever who are protesting at the border. Such farmers will be given free covid test. Free facilities and treatment will be provided to such farmers if they are found to be infected with corona.

During the Corona period, a large number of farmers have gathered for the agitation. This has also added to the administration’s concerns. At such times, it is very important to check the health of the farmers. Poonia issued the orders to the concerned authorities after reviewing the situation on Wednesday.

Preparing the agitating farmers for covid test is also a big challenge before the administration. While ordering regular provision of masks to the agitating farmers, the officials appealed to the farmers to use the masks.

Many organizations, associations as well as celebrity movements are participating in support of farmers. Therefore, the number of protesters is increasing day by day.
