Thunberg toolkit case: Inquiry into the parents of ‘that’ young man in Beed

Aurangabad: Following the revelation of a tool kit related to the farmers’ agitation in the national capital, Delhi, it has been revealed that the thread of this case now extends to Beed in Maharashtra. Delhi Police had registered a case against Shantanu Mulak from Beed. A team of Delhi Police arrived in Beed. He is understood to have questioned Shantanu’s parents. It is also said that he went to the branch of the bank in which he has an account and inquired.

Following the arrest of Disha Ravi from Bangalore in the Greta Thunberg Tool Kit case, a non-bailable warrant has been issued by the Delhi Police against Shantanu Shivlal Mulak (resident of Beed). The e-mail ID used for Google Doc is said to be Shantanu’s. Shantanu has filed a pre-arrest bail application in the Aurangabad Bench of the Mumbai High Court seeking relief from the arrest proceedings pending his application for pre-arrest bail in a Delhi court.
