Chandigarh: The agitation of farmers in the capital Delhi and along the state border against agricultural laws is now intensifying. The party, which was once an ally of the BJP along with the Opposition, has now become more aggressive. On Thursday, party patron Prakash Singh Badal returned his Padma Vibhushan in support of the farmers. His son and party president have also reported rumors of Khalistanis in the movement. Sukhbir Singh Badal said, ‘Many old women have joined this movement. What are they? Is this a way to address the farmers in the country? This is an insult to these farmers. How did they dare to call our farmers traitors? Who gave the right to call Bharatiya Janata Party or any other farmer a traitor? These farmers have dedicated their entire lives for the country and you call them traitors? Those who call these farmers traitors are traitors. ‘
