New Delhi: Preparations for the Assembly elections 2021 in five states (Tamil Nadu, Assam, Puducherry, Kerala and West Bengal) are in the final stages in the coming months. Deployment of 250 Central Security Forces companies

After a meeting with the Election Commission two days ago, the Center has started deploying 250 companies of Central paramilitary forces in the five states where elections will be held. These companies include personnel from the Central Reserve Police, Central Industrial Security Force, Border Security Force and other security forces. It has been decided to send 125 companies to West Bengal. Apart from that, 45 companies will be deployed in Tamil Nadu, 40 in Assam, 10 in Puducherry and 30 in Kerala.

There is not a single Hindi speaking state in the 5 states where assembly elections are to be held. The largest of these elections is in West Bengal. Apart from this, elections will be held in Assam, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Before the election, a team from the Election Commission visited the site and inquired about law and order and other issues.
