New Delhi: The farmers’ protest against the three new farm laws of the central government continues. Now Indian Farmers Union leader Rakesh Tikait has expressed skepticism about the government. The central government is cooking something against the farmers’ movement. Signs of something going on against the agitation are coming from the government’s silence. The government has been silent for the last 15-20 days. The government is ready for one thing or another, said Rakesh Tikait.

‘Farmers will agitate and agriculture too’

The Center will withdraw from Delhi until the new agricultural laws come into force. The central government now has to decide when to end the agitation. If the government agrees to all the demands, the farmers will return to their villages. If this does not happen, farmers will see agriculture and will also agitate, reiterated Rakesh Tikait.

‘Modi – Yogis don’t have children, who will give them to anyone’

So far there have been 12 rounds of discussions between the farmers’ association and the central government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar have also said that the solution to the farmers’ problem will come out of the talks. But so far the central government has not received any discussion proposal from the farmers’ associations. But if the government calls, we are ready for discussion, said Rakesh Tikait.

‘Farmers meeting across the country till March 24’

Rakesh Tikait had said that if the government did not accept the demands, the farmers would burn their crops. They were questioned on that. That time has not yet come. But the government should also appeal to the farmers not to destroy their crops. Farmers’ meetings will continue till March 24, said Rakesh Tikait.
