The woman had come to the police station to lodge a complaint against her husband. However, Sub-Inspector of Police Bharat Singh raped her for three days in a row from March 2. On Sunday, he tried to rape her again. The woman protested. He then lodged a complaint against him at the police station.
Superintendent of Police Tejaswini Gautam said action has been taken against Sub-Inspector of Police Bharat Singh, accused in the rape case. His badass orders. A police constable has also been suspended for tampering with the complaint documents filed by the woman. So far, four police personnel have been charged. The matter is under further investigation.
