News Agency, New Delhi: Arij Khan, a member of the Indian Mujahideen, was sentenced to death by a Delhi court on Monday in connection with the 2008 murder of police inspector Mohanchand Sharma in the Batla House scuffle in New Delhi.

Khan opposed the sentencing of Ariz to death, saying the incident during the Batla House encounter was not premeditated.
