New Delhi: Speaking on Friday’s attack on farmer leader Rakesh Tikait in Rajasthan’s Alwar district, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi targeted the Sangh. ‘His team teaches attack. Non-violent satyagraha makes farmers fearless. Let’s face the team together. We will repeal all the three anti-agriculture and anti-national laws’, tweeted Rahul Gandhi.

On Friday, a convoy of vehicles belonging to Indian Farmers Union leader Rakesh Tikait was attacked in Alwar district. No one was injured in the incident but vehicles were damaged. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also condemned the attack and promised to take stern action against the culprits.

Alwar police have arrested 16 people in connection with the Rakesh Tikait attack. This includes a BJP leader. After this incident, Rahul Gandhi targeted BJP and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

Earlier, Rakesh Tikait had also blamed the Center for the attack. Apart from the Center, who else will be responsible for this? They were the people of his youth wing. He was announcing Rakesh Tikait Go Back … but now where will I go. They threw stones at me, smashed me with sticks. Why are they fighting us? We are not a political party, ”Tikait had said after the attack.

The repercussions of the attack on Rakesh Tikait were also felt on the streets of Delhi. On Friday night, protesters caused traffic jams in many places.
