So they have to pay more. If there is even a slight disturbance in the testing of the government team, action has to be taken. As a result, private labs have stopped testing.
The Chief Minister’s Office also has no information
The Chief Minister’s Office itself could not provide a list or information on how many private labs in the city are conducting corona tests and how many are not. ACMO in charge of ‘Navbharat Times’ Dr. MK Singh was asked for information on April 11. However, no reply was received till the evening of April 15. We also tried to contact a private lab directly. But, everyone got the same answer … ‘We have closed Corona test’.
The black market of Remedesivir
While the corona infection is rampant, there is a black market for remedicivir injections used in corona treatment in the state. In Kanpur, police acted on a tip-off received from the Military Intelligence Unit. Meanwhile, police arrested three people in the Babu Purwa area with remedivir injections. DCP Raveena Tyagi informed that 265 bottles of Remedesivir injection were seized during the operation.
Screening of migrant workers
The Uttar Pradesh government has issued guidelines to the district collector regarding migrant workers entering the state. After the arrival of migrant Mujars entering the state, they should be screened by the district administration and if any symptoms of covid are found, they should be quarantined. If they are found to be infected during the corona test, they should be isolated in a covid hospital or at home for 14 days. Asymptomatic people have been instructed to do home quarantine for 7 days
What do the numbers say?
According to government figures, the second wave of corona has found 22,439 corona patients in Uttar Pradesh in the last 24 hours, killing 104 people. In Uttar Pradesh, 9,480 crore people have died so far. Of these, 1,410 deaths have been reported in Lucknow alone. At present, 35,865 people are undergoing treatment in Lucknow.
In the last 24 hours, 2.1 lakh citizens have been tested for corona. It is said that 3.73 crore tests have been done in the state so far. Over the past week, 88,000 new corona infections have been reported in Jalpaiguri.
Uttar Pradesh ranks second after Maharashtra in most transitions
According to Thursday’s figures, Uttar Pradesh ranks second only to Maharashtra in terms of transition. In one day 61 thousand 695 patients were found in Maharashtra while in Uttar Pradesh 22 thousand 339 patients were found.
According to government figures, a total of 7 lakh 66 thousand 360 patients have been found in the state so far. Out of this 1 lakh 29 thousand 848 patients are undergoing treatment. 9 thousand 480 people died.
