The incident took place on Thursday in Narau Buzurg village within the limits of Civil Line Police Station. Nanhe, a 32-year-old youth from here, was stabbed to death late at night. Jitendra, a resident of the village, and his companion came home late at night. He pressured her to vote for her favorite candidate. However, Nanhe refused to vote. At that time, the accused stabbed him to death. He then fled the scene, his wife said.

Police rushed to the spot after getting information about the incident. They took the body into custody and sent it to the hospital for autopsy.
