West Bengal Poll: Congratulations to Mamata ‘Didi’ from Sharad Pawar for West Bengal’s victory!

New Delhi: The results of the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections are now clear. In this election, it is seen that the people have once again cast their votes in favor of the present Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. NCP’s Sarvesarva Sharad Pawar has congratulated Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on social media.

‘Congratulations to Mamata Banerjee for a landslide victory! We will continue our work for the welfare of the people as well as to collectively face the challenge posed by communicable diseases’, said Sharad Pawar in his tweet.

Sharad Pawar also lauded MK Stalin for his decisive lead in Tamil Nadu. “Good luck for the service of the people who believe in you,” tweeted Pawar.

West Bengal has a majority of 147. The Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress has easily surpassed this figure. BJP is ranked second in the state. This result shows that BJP also won more than 100 seats.

In West Bengal, polling for 294 assembly constituencies was held in eight phases. In Bengal, citizens registered their votes in eight phases on March 27, 1, 6, 10, 17, 22 and 26 April.

Sharad Pawar’s support to Mamata Didi

In the wake of the Corona transition, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had written a letter to opposition leaders across the country, including Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray, challenging them to unite and fight during the Assembly elections. On the other hand, Sharad Pawar had announced that he would stand by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in the West Bengal war and campaign for her in the state.

Addressing the gathering, Sharad Pawar had said that 50 ministers, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, and several state chief ministers were trying to oust Mamata Banerjee from power in West Bengal. Sharad Pawar had also criticized the BJP for using all its power against a single woman who has been in power for 10 years.
