Homeopathy syrup mixed with native liquor to prevent corona, 9 people died

Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh: Many are taking the wrong steps to avoid corona. In a village in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, some youths mixed homeopathic Drossera cough syrup with raw honey. As a result, 9 youths have died and 4 youths are undergoing treatment at the hospital.

The incident took place in Korami Dhuripara village in Sirgitti area of ​​Chhattisgarh. This homeopathic syrup was used in many families in the village. But this syrup was mixed with alcohol by some young people. This caused the mixture to die. Four died on Wednesday morning, four in the evening and one on Thursday morning.

The villagers informed the police that 4 youths died at the same time. After this, the police team reached the village at night. The investigation revealed all the incidents. Other unwell youths have since been admitted to CIMS Hospital for treatment. The condition of one of the youths is critical. He has been admitted to Apollo Hospital.

After this incident, the health department has started a camp in the village and started checking the villagers. It was found that some young people drank the mixture. But nothing happened to them. Police are now searching for a doctor at the homeopathy clinic.

What the young person drinks is not syrup (mother tincture) but a diluent. Mother tinctures have very low potency. The diluent contains more than 90% alcohol. Drinking this liquid affects the heart and can even lead to death.
