The price of a single dose of Sputnik V imported vaccine has been announced in the country at Rs 995.40. The Sputnik V vaccine is 91.6 percent effective. This is the third vaccine to be approved in India.

The first dose of Sputnik V vaccine was given in Hyderabad on Friday. The imported dose of Sputnik V includes 5% GST. But once the vaccine starts production in India, its price will go down.
