coronavirus: ‘Positive’ news given by the Union Ministry of Health about coronavirus

New Delhi: With the second wave of coronavirus in the country (Coronavirus India), the Union Ministry of Health has given some reassuring news. The covid 19 recovery rate in the country was 81.7 per cent on May 3. It has now risen to 85.6 per cent. In the last 24 hours, 4 lakh 22 thousand 436 people have become tax free. This number is the highest ever in the country. This is a positive and reassuring thing on the issue of coronation. There are more than 1 lakh active patients in 8 states. There are between 50,000 and 1 lakh active patients in 10 states. There are less than 50,000 active patients in 18 states. This information was given by Love Agarwal, Joint Secretary, Union Health Ministry.

In Kerala, 99 thousand 651 people became tax free. From just 8 states, more than 10,000 new patients are being diagnosed every day. In 26 states, the number of new tax-exempt patients is higher.

The highest number of corona patients is in 8 states

On May 7, 4 lakh 14 thousand new cases of corona were found in the country. In the last 24 hours, over 2 lakh 63 thousand new patients were found. In the last two days, less than 3 lakh new patients have been found in the country. The number of patients found on May 7 and today has dropped by 27 per cent. Only 8 states have 69 per cent patients. There are 22 states where the positivity rate is more than 15 per cent. And in 13 states, the positivity rate is between 5 and 15 per cent, Agarwal said.

The weekly positivity rate in the country has come down to 14.10 per cent. Only 1.8 per cent of the country’s population has been infected with corona so far. The figure is 10.1 per cent in the US, 7.3 per cent in Brazil, 9 per cent in France, 3.4 per cent in Russia and 7.4 per cent in Italy, said Love Agarwal.
