New Delhi: Against the backdrop of the Corona transition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will once again interact directly with administrative officials in different states today. The meeting, which is being held through video conferencing, is attended by district collectors of 10 states, including Maharashtra.

District Collectors and field officials from Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Kerala, Odisha, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh have joined the meeting with the Prime Minister.

The meeting was organized to review the Corona infection situation in different places. Out of 56 districts in the country, 17 districts of Maharashtra are included in this meeting. This includes officials from Ahmednagar, Solapur, Chandrapur, Nashik, Satara, Buldana, Kolhapur, Sangli, Amravati, Wardha, Palghar, Osmanabad, Jalna, Latur, Nagpur, Parbhani and Beed districts.

District Collectors of many districts, Chief Executive Officers of Zilla Parishads, Municipal Commissioners have been present for this meeting.

Earlier, in a meeting of district collectors of other states, Prime Minister Modi had said that he was giving a “free hand” to the officials and advised them to do whatever was needed. Prime Minister Modi had also appealed to the officials to work keeping in mind that if the district wins, the country will win.
