New Delhi: Aerosols of the corona virus can spread up to 10 meters in the air. The central government has issued an advisory called ‘Easy to Follow’ in the fight against corona. Corona infection is mainly through saliva and nose. The virus is transmitted from infected patients to others through droplets and aerosols. Droplets fall 2 meters away from the positive patient’s saliva or nose. But small particles of aerosol spread through the air up to 10 meters, it is said in ‘Easy to follow’.

The advisory has been issued by the office of Vijay Raghavan, chief scientific adviser to the central government. Wear face masks to protect against corona, follow social distance, keep clean and play air or ventilation in the house, the guidelines say. The number of corona patients in the country is increasing rapidly. In such cases, these simple measures can help you to prevent the spread of SARS-CoV-2, according to the guidelines.

What does it say?

Infection from the surface

Droplets from a positive patient’s nose or mouth fall to the surrounding surface. The virus stays on the surface longer. This means that surfaces that come in contact with more, such as door handles, switchboards, chairs or other parts including tables and flooring, should be constantly cleaned and disinfected.

Wear a mask

Citizens now need to wear a double mask or wear an N95 mask. For dubs masks, wear a fit with a surgical mask and a mask that completely covers the mouth and nose. Those who do not have a surgical mask should wear two cotton masks. The surgical mask is to be used only once. But once used, you can use it again after 7 days by keeping it in a dry place. It is recommended that you use a surgical mask a maximum of 5 times a day.

Keep ventilation or ventilation

Pay special attention to ventilation. This reduces the risk of infection from a positive patient to others. Keep the fan in the right place. Open the doors and windows. Or even if the window is slightly open, the air in the house continues to flow. This reduces the risk of infection. It also improves indoor air quality, it has been suggested.
