drdo 2dg drug: Center believes in 2-DG drug on corona, third phase trial to continue

New Delhi: The drug 2-DG developed by DRDO will be very useful in the treatment of corona (drdo 2dg drug). It could also be decisive in the fight against Corona, the central government has said. Meanwhile, important information has emerged from clinical trials of the drug. As a result, the third phase of clinical trials will continue till August in more than 24 government and private hospitals across the country. The tests involved 220 patients.

Clinical trials of the third phase of the drug, 2-DG, began in January. The second phase of the test was conducted between June and September last year. It was attended by 110 patients. The drug is also used to treat cancer patients, according to many experts.

The 2-DG coronary drug developed by DRDO has been reconstructed. This drug is nothing new. This drug was previously used to treat cancer patients. The results of the test of this drug have been given to DCGI, informed the Director of ICMR, Dr. Presented by Balram Bhargava.

In May last year, Dr. Reddy’s Lab was approved by DCGI to test the drug on 2-DG corona.
