Balrampur: A shocking video from Balrampur in Uttar Pradesh is going viral (people threw covid patient dead body). In this video, two people are seen throwing the body of a single patient in the Rapti river (balrampur rapti river). One of the two people seen in the video is wearing a PPE kit and the other is in black clothes. The administration is shocked that the video went viral. An FIR has been lodged in this regard.

The case is on a bridge near Sisai Ghat in Balrampur. The incident took place on May 29. Some people crossing the bridge in cars were filming the rain. At that time, they saw a man wearing a PPE kit and another man with him.

Inquiries made by the administration

The viral video shows two people on the bridge picking up bodies and throwing them into the river. The matter was investigated by the administration. The patient died on May 28. The patient’s name was Premnath Mishra. He was admitted to the hospital on May 25. He was infected with Corona. Premnath had died on May 28, said CMO Dr. V. B. Singh said.

Premnath’s body was taken for autopsy as per Kovid protocol. There, the body was handed over to his family. After that the team came back. But then his family threw his body into the river instead of burying him. A case has been registered against the accused in this case, Singh said.

The person wearing the PPE kit in the video was not identified. But the other person was a young man working on the ghat. Investigating him, the team reached out to Premnath’s family.
