According to Indian Railways, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a five-star hotel and some other major projects at the redeveloped Gandhinagar railway station on Friday.
Special lighting has also been arranged at Gandhinagar Rajdhani station to give passengers a great experience.
According to the information received, Prime Minister Modi will also show the green flag to the Gandhinagar-Varanasi weekly superfast train and the Gandhinagar-Varetha Memu train.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and many other officials will be present at the event in Gandhinagar.
Gandhinagar Rajdhani station falls under the Western Railway section of Indian Railways. The five-star hotel set up at the station will have 318 rooms and will be operated by a private company. According to the information received, the hotel has been built in an area of 7400 square meters. A gate has been constructed inside the station through which passengers can enter the hotel directly from the station. The hotel also has elevators and escalators.
According to Indian Railways, the project cost around Rs 790 crore. The hotel is now ready to welcome national as well as international guests.
