Shimla: A major accident took place in Kinnaur in Himachal Pradesh on Sunday due to landslides in Himachal Pradesh. Nine tourists have been killed when a car crashed into a mountain. The tourists are said to be from Jaipur and Delhi. The bridge was also damaged in the accident. The incident took place in Sangla valley.

The incident took place near Batesari Gunsa village in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. The cars coming from Sangla were found under the rubble. Nine tourists were killed and three others were injured in the incident. One of the dead is from Delhi and the rest are from Jaipur. Five men and four women were killed in the accident. All of them had come from Delhi and Jaipur to Himachal Pradesh.

Pain fell on a tempo traveler heading towards Sangla from Chitkula. Eight people died on the spot in this incident. One died during treatment. One of the dead is a local. The driver of Tempo Travel HR 55 AG 9003 was a resident of West Delhi.

Upon learning of the incident, police and administration officials rushed to the spot. Relief and rescue work continues. Landslides occur in this area.
