Finally, Karnataka Chief Minister Yeddyurappa announces his resignation

Bangalore: After much tussle, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa has finally announced his resignation. Yeddyurappa will meet the governor this afternoon and submit his resignation. This information was given by Chief Minister Yeddyurappa himself.

‘I have decided to resign. I will meet the Governor after lunch, ‘Yeddyurappa said emotionally.

Notably, the Yeddyurappa government completed its two-year term in the state today. But instead of celebrating the same day, he decided to back down from the leadership’s decision.

According to sources, the decision on the next Chief Minister of Karnataka could be taken by Monday evening.

‘I had to face various challenges from the very first day I took over as the Chief Minister; But I am satisfied that I have made sincere efforts to do good for the people, ‘said Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa on Saturday. He had also hinted that next Monday would be the last day of the Chief Minister’s post.
