New Delhi: While some experts have warned of a third wave of corona, the number of new corona patients in the country is on the rise. The covid-19 positivity rate has been seen in more than 10 per cent in 46 districts of the country. The central government has given strict instructions to the states for districts with 10 per cent positivity rate. The central government has directed to impose strict restrictions on crowd control and public meetings in these districts. The central government today took stock of the situation in 10 states. It showed an increasing number of corona patients and an increase in the positive rate.
The number of corona patients has increased in 10 states – Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Assam, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Andhra Pradesh and Manipur. Apart from this, the Center has also given some special instructions to the states to prevent the spread of Corona. Complete immunization of coronaviruses in the respective districts as soon as possible. It has been instructed to give priority to giving a second dose of vaccine. Emphasis is being placed on setting up Oxygen PSA plants in private hospitals along with effective and regular monitoring of citizens with home isolates to prevent outbreaks.
In 46 districts of the country, the positivity rate is more than 10 per cent. In 53 districts, the positivity rate is between 5 to 10 per cent. In 10 states, more than 80 per cent patients are in home isolation.

The central government has released Rs 1,827 crore under the Emergency Covid Response Package to the states for the fight against Corona. This amount is 15% of the total amount of the Emergency Covid Response Package. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandvi tweeted this information. The central government has sent Rs 1,827 crore to the states and union territories. The package will help develop the country’s healthcare infrastructure, Mandvi said in a tweet.
