New Delhi: The 12th round of India-China border talks was held. The fruitful results of this discussion have been seen. After the 12th round of talks, the troops of both the countries withdrew from Gogra in East Ladakh (India China Carried Out Disengagement Process). The 12th round of talks was held at Chushul-Molde in East Ladakh at the Commander-in-Chief level of the Indo-Chinese Army. The two countries’ forces discussed ways to reduce tensions along the Line of Control (LoC). Also both sides agreed to remove the soldiers from Gogra. Troops from both countries met in the area in May last year. After the talks, the armies of both the countries stopped deploying troops in Gogra. Also, on 4th and 5th August, the soldiers withdrew from Gogra. Soldiers from both countries are now stationed at their respective bases, the statement said. The Indian Army, along with the Tibetan Border Police, is committed to maintaining the country’s sovereignty and maintaining peace near the Line of Control in the west, the military said.

Foreign Minister of India S. Jaishankar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met on July 14 during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit. The meeting lasted an hour.
