Bennett University: Third Convocation of Bennett University; Dharmendra Pradhan says, ‘University lends itself to research and creativity’

New Delhi: The third convocation of Bennett University came to mind (Bennett University Convocation 2021). Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was the chief guest at the event. Bennett praised the work of the university in the field of education. In a very short period of time, Bennett University has emerged as a center of quality education. The university has given more edge to the culture of research and creativity, said Dharmendra Pradhan.

The third convocation of Bennett University was held online. The event was attended by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and many dignitaries from across the country. Biocon’s executive chairman, Dr. Kiran Majumdar Shaw and Nestle India President and MD Suresh Narayan graced the occasion as ‘Guest of Honor’. At the same time, NASSCOM President Debjani Ghosh graced the occasion as a ‘Special Guest’. University Vice Chancellor Vineet Jain presided over the event. Similarly, Vice Chancellor Dr. Prabhu Agarwal presented the annual report of the university.

Bennett is pleased to see the University’s dedication to education. The University is emerging as a center of quality education. Universities and other institutions of higher learning are becoming pioneers of global research and innovation to become leaders in the financial turnover of knowledge. Bennett University has sharpened its culture of research and innovation. Out of 98 registered PhD students, 55 are funded by the university. This is a matter of great appreciation, said Dharmendra Pradhan.

Bennett University professors and students have filed 18 patents, with highly educated professors, strong records of publications in renowned national and international journals. This is a big and admirable thing. 412 students have graduated from Bennett University. Congratulations to all the students. Behind this is the hard work of the students. Today is his day, said Pradhan.

Prime Minister Modi launched several important initiatives of NEP 2020 including Academic Bank of Credit, Multiple Entry-Exit System, National Education Technology Forum. Bennett University has organized a number of live webinars and seminars to make the university aware of NEP2020, said Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
