In Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh, the Naxals carried out an ambush. Two ITPB officers were killed in the attack. ITBP Assistant Commandant and ASI Gurmukh Singh was martyred. He was serving in the 45th Battalion of ITBP. The Naxals carried out the attack at a distance of 600 meters from Kademata camp. After the attack, the Naxals looted the weapons of the jawans. An AK-47 rifle, two bulletproof jackets and a walkie-talkie were looted by the Naxals.
