In this Ramlila, actor Rajendra Singh appeared on the stage in the role of Dashrath Raja. The performers performed the scenes of Ram going to Vanvasa from the stage. The scene of Dasharatha Raja giving up his life in Ram Viyoga was presented and then the curtain fell on the stage. However, Rajendra Singh, who plays Dasharatha, did not get up.
Seeing this, his fellow actors ran to wake up Rajendra Singh. However, he noticed that Rajendra Singh had stopped breathing. After learning that Rajendra Singh, who was seen in the role of ‘Dashrath Raja’, had died, mourning spread in the area.
For more than 20 years, Rajendra Singh has been playing the role of King Dasharatha in Ramlila. He wanted to keep the audience hooked, a sentiment echoed by his colleagues.
The presentation to Ramli was started from October 2 in Hasanpur village of Bijnor. Scenes of Ram Vangamana were presented on 14th October. It is understood that this incident took place in the meantime.
