Ranjit Sagar Dam is very deep. This led to many difficulties in locating the missing Captain Jayant Joshi. The search and rescue team searched to the bottom of the dam. For this, he used the latest technology called Multi Beam Sonar. The bottom of the dam was rediscovered today with this technology. The body of Captain Jayant Joshi was found at a depth of 65 to 70 meters. Their bodies were then taken to the bottom of the dam by a rov robot.
