What exactly happened?
A photo that went viral on social media claimed that a Pakistani flag was flying over a house. It was also claimed that the flag was on the roof of the house of Talib, a resident of Ward No. 10 in Mundera Bazaar of Chaurichaura in Gorakhpur district.
Police did not find the Pakistani flag
When police arrived, they did not find a ‘Pakistani flag’ at the scene. But here the police saw a crowd of citizens. The concerned family had locked the door of the house from inside due to fear. Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck.
Vehicle vandalism by pro-Hindu activists
Meanwhile, a mob present outside the house also vandalized a vehicle parked outside Pappu Qureshi’s door. Therefore, considering the situation, the police have deployed security in the area.
