Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar introduced a bill in both the houses repealing three agriculture laws. Opposition groups called for a debate on the issue. However, the opposition’s demand was rejected. Rahul Gandhi has reacted strongly to this and has made serious allegations against the Modi government. MSP was not allowed to be discussed in Parliament. Discussions about Baliraja who was martyred in the agitation were avoided. The government does not want to talk about the removal of the Union Minister in the Lakhimpur case. Parliamentary powers are being taken away. This mentality is formed out of failure. This is a ‘cowardly’ government, said Rahul.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had admitted that he had made a mistake while announcing the repeal of the Agriculture Act. If you agree with the mistake, then the families of the 700 farmers who were martyred in the farmers’ movement should be compensated, demanded Rahul. The repeal of the Agriculture Act has raised many questions. The people should know from whom these laws were made, what was the power behind it. Referring to the farmers’ movement, the Prime Minister mentioned a group of farmers. It is an insult to the farmers. The agitating farmers were also compared to the Khalistanis, all of which are annoying and should be discussed in Parliament, he said.
