Meerut: In Uttar Pradesh, another couple was obstructed during the ongoing debate on the controversial anti-conversion law enacted by the ordinance. A dispute has erupted in Meerut after the marriage of a young man of two different religions.

In Meerut, a Muslim girl got married to a Hindu boy in a temple. After marriage, this girl named ‘Farah’ (24 years old) changed her name to ‘Mahi’.

The couple was brought to Meerut from Rishikesh

According to information received, Naman Madan runs a cake shop. He used to come and go to Farah’s house often. Farah-Naman was introduced a year and a half ago. After that, this friendship turned into love.

When it was first learned at Farah’s house, she was banned from leaving the house by her family.

However, on December 13, the two secretly left home and got married in a temple in Rishikesh. After tracing the location, the police traced the two and the couple was taken into custody from a hotel.

Allegation of kidnapping

According to police, on December 14, Farah’s brother Naman Madan was accused of abducting his sister by dragging her into a love trap.

On the other hand, there was a commotion in the police station claiming that Naman Chanch was abducted by Hindu Jagran Manch.

After that, Meerut police traced Madan’s location and reached the couple in Rishikesh. After that the police brought him to Meerut.

Danger to life from family

Farah married her boyfriend Naman Madan in a temple in Rishikesh. According to police, Farah refused to go with his family. She also said that her life was in danger from her own family. Farah said that she was wise and married Madan of her own free will.
