The Union Security Forces will be responsible for the security of the Home Minister. Citizens attending road shows and public meetings will be screened. Home Ministry provides security to Shubhendu who resigned from TMC
Shubhendu Adhikari, who resigned from the Trinamool Congress, has been provided security by the Home Ministry. The Union Home Ministry has provided ‘Z’ grade security to Shubhendu officers. In West Bengal, Shubhendu will now be seen traveling in a bullet proof vehicle. Outside Bengal, however, they will get ‘Y Plus’ level security.
Shubhendu’s security arrangements were inspected after consulting the central security agencies. It has been decided to provide Z-grade CRPF protection to Shubhendu in Bengal along with a bullet proof vehicle, ”the Home Ministry said in a statement.
