‘Alcohol was adulterated, even after drinking a full bottle, it did not rise’, the alcoholic complained directly to the Home Minister

Ujjain: An interesting type has emerged in Madhya Pradesh. It is reported when adulterated in common foodstuffs. You may have read the news of such complaints. But what happened in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, may be the first.

A person from Ujjain has lodged a complaint directly with all the officials, including the state Home Minister, alleging tainted liquor. The man, who was on a diet of alcohol, complained that he did not drink alcohol even after drinking a full bottle. He directly accused the liquor seller of pouring water on the liquor and selling it. He also said that it is causing financial loss to us.

The person concerned has lodged a written complaint with the state Home Minister and Ujjain Superintendent of Police. In the complaint, he alleged that a company selling liquor had defrauded customers. The name of the person who lodged the complaint is Rahmare Lokendra Sothia on Bahadur Ganj Arya Samaj Marg of Ujjain. Lokendra has been drinking for the last 20 years. On April 12, he bought four quarters of liquor from a shop in Kshir Sagar. Even after drinking two quarters, he did not get drunk, so Lokendra suspected that the liquor must have been adulterated.

He complained to the shopkeeper after the incident. The shopkeeper replied, “Do whatever you want.” Lokendra decided to lodge a complaint after this reply and directly complained to the SP of Ujjain, Home Minister, Excise Department to take action against the concerned contractors. Lokendra lodged complaints everywhere but no action was taken. Lokendra is confident that his complaint will be acted upon someday and that is why Lokendra did not open the remaining two quarters he bought. Lokendra intends to go to the laboratory and test it. Not only that, they are planning to file a complaint in the consumer court.
