New Delhi: The Central Government today announced the Agneepath Recruitment Scheme. The announcement was made by Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh along with the chiefs of the three parties announced the plan today. A decision has been taken under CCA to make Indian Army the best army in the world. Today we are announcing a historic plan through Agneepath. Under the Agneepath scheme, the youth will get the opportunity to serve in the Agniveer Sena. This scheme is being launched with a view to strengthen the security of the country and to recruit the youth of the country in the army, said Rajnath Singh.

Offer for firefighters

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that the Agneepath scheme would improve the health and fitness of the youth. Also, employment will be provided in various fields. This will help in the growth of total GDP. An excellent package, service funding package, disability package has also been announced.

During the Corona era, the recruitment process in the army was stalled for the last two years. Therefore, the central government has launched this scheme. The Indian Air Force, Navy and Army will be recruited for a period of four years. These soldiers will be called firefighters. There is an age limit for this scheme. Young people up to the age of 21 will be eligible for this scheme.

The scheme will be implemented across the country for recruitment of firefighters. Young people coming in on merit will be selected from this. The selected youth i.e. Agniveer will serve for 4 years. After four years, he will have to leave the army.
