Ayodhya: BJP MP from Uttar Pradesh Brij Bhushan Singh, who has strongly opposed MNS chief Raj Thackeray’s visit to Ayodhya, will meet Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, who has arrived in Ayodhya. State Environment Minister and Yuvasena chief Aditya Thackeray will leave for Ayodhya on Wednesday. Leading Shiv Sena leaders have arrived in Ayodhya to prepare for the tour. Raj Thackeray had announced his visit to Ayodhya at a press conference in Pune. Accordingly, Raj Thackeray was to arrive in Ayodhya on 5th June. Therefore, Brijbhushan Singh had taken a stand that Raj Thackeray would not allow North Indians to set foot in Ayodhya unless he apologized. Brijbhushan Singh had also roared that if Mansainiks come to Ayodhya, they will be drowned. Seeing the bitter opposition of Brijbhushan Singh, Raj Thackeray had postponed his Ayodhya tour.

After all these controversies, it was alleged that Brijbhushan Singh’s agitation was a ploy of NCP’s Sarvesarva Sharad Pawar. Several photos of the meeting between Brijbhushan Singh and Sharad Pawar had gone viral on social media. So the psychics had become aggressive. Against this backdrop, the meeting between Sanjay Raut and Brijbhushan Singh is now likely to create a new storm in Maharashtra’s political circles.

‘My opposition to Raj Thackeray, not to Thackeray’s family’

Opposing Raj Thackeray, Brijbhushan Singh has taken a positive stance on Aditya Thackeray’s visit. My opposition is to Raj Thackeray, not to the Thackeray family. Therefore, if any of Raj’s mother, wife or family members come to Ayodhya, I will personally host him. But my opposition to Raj Thackeray remains. Opposition to Raj Thackeray will continue till he apologizes, Brijbhushan had clarified.
