Jammu: The Amarnath Yatra, which has been closed for almost two years due to the Corona epidemic, is resuming from June 30 this year. The police and the administration are working hard for the 43-day long yatra. The Amarnath Yatra is under attack by terrorists this year. Therefore, the administration has issued orders for the pilgrims. Accordingly, the pilgrims will have to carry some necessary documents.
As per the order issued by the General Administration Department, Aadhar card will be mandatory for the passengers coming for Amarnath Yatra. Orders have been issued that pilgrims will not be allowed to travel to Amarnath if they do not have Aadhaar card. This year’s Amarnath Yatra is being attacked by terrorists. The administration has taken this decision to identify the pilgrims as there is a possibility of a terrorist attack. A special machine will be used to verify the Aadhar card.

20 resting places have been set up in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir for the devotees coming for Amarnath Yatra. It can accommodate 8,000 people. In addition, the rest house has anchorage facilities as well as toilets and bathrooms. All passengers will be able to use this service free of cost.

This year’s Yatra will run from June 30 to August 11. About one million devotees can participate in the yatra. This journey can be completed from 2 routes in Kashmir.
