News Agency, New Delhi: The number of daily coronary patients across the country rose sharply on Thursday. The number of patients on Thursday increased by 38.4 per cent as compared to Wednesday. In the 24 hours till 7 am on Thursday, 12,213 new patients were found across the country. The number of patients found during the day on Wednesday was 8,822. Eleven patients died on Thursday amid a sharp rise in the number of patients. The figures have been released by the Union Ministry of Health.

A total of 6,594 new cases were reported across the country on Tuesday. On Wednesday, there was an increase of more than two thousand patients. The growth season continued on Thursday, but the rise was worrisome compared to the previous two days. Due to 12,213 new patients, the number of patients reached 4 crore 32 lakh 57 thousand 730 till date. The total number of deaths due to death of 11 patients reached 5 lakh 24 thousand 803. The number of patients undergoing treatment also increased on Thursday, adding 4,578 patients.

The daily rate was 2.35 per cent and the weekly rate was 2.38 per cent. The death toll from the infection is 1.21 per cent of those infected. Out of the infected, 4 crore 26 lakh 74 thousand 712 people have overcome the corona infection.

89% of adults have been vaccinated

Eighty-nine per cent of adults in the country have been vaccinated, while more than 75 per cent of children between the ages of 12 and 14 have been vaccinated for the first time. A total of 195.67 crore vaccines have been distributed in the country so far. This information was given by Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandvia. Congratulations to Indians!
