In the second term, the Uttar Pradesh Police has launched an operation to identify the culprits. So far, the DGP’s headquarters has identified 12 mafias, including 50 notorious criminals, and initiated action against them. According to the Gangster Act, a total of 192 crore 40 lakh 34 thousand 582 rupees has been confiscated from March 25, 2022 to June 2022.

-Sanjeev Maheshwari alias Jeeva’s property worth Rs 4 crore confiscated in Muzaffarnagar
– Gangster Khan Mubarak’s assets worth Rs 1.93 crore seized in Ambedkar Nagar
– Atik Ahmed’s property worth Rs 5 crore confiscated in Prayagraj
– Mukhtar Ansari’s assets worth Rs 14 crore and Rs 31 lakh confiscated from Ghazipur and Mau
– Assets worth Rs 4 crore 11 lakh 38 thousand of Vijay Mishra in Bhadohi confiscated
Dhruv Singh alias Kuntu Singh’s assets worth Rs 4 crore 80 lakh 9 thousand seized in Azamgarh
Former MP Rizwan Zaheer’s assets worth Rs 143 million seized in Balrampur
Along with 50 mafias in Uttar Pradesh, assets worth Rs 92 crore of 12 gangsters have been seized. A total of Rs 284 crore worth of assets belonging to 62 mafias have been seized so far.
