Proud! Baap- Lekichi Uttung Bharari; This is the first time in the history of the Air Force

Mumbai: For the first time in the history of the Indian Air Force, an admirable and unique event has taken place. The performance of Baap and Leki is being discussed all over the country. Flying officer Ananya Sharma flew with her father, who is an air commander. Baap-Leki has flown a fighter jet together. The pair is currently being discussed across the country. (Ananya Sharma Iaf)

Ananya Sharma is a Flying Officer in the Indian Air Force. Ananya’s father is proud of her success. Ananya is the first Indian woman to fly a flying jet with her father. This Baap-Leki duo has made history by flying Hawk-132 aircraft of the Air Force.

For every girl, her father is a hero. Her father was also an inspiration to Ananya. She had been watching her father’s work since childhood. So when she grew up, she followed in Sanjay Sharma’s footsteps and started dreaming of joining the Air Force. Her confidence grew when she saw the first woman fighter in the Air Force in 2016. After completing her BTech, she was selected for Flying Branch Training in the Indian Air Force.

Ananya was hired as a fighter pilot in December 2021. Ananya’s father, Air Commodore Sanjay Sharma, was assigned to Fighter Stream in 1989. They have experience in fighter jets. He is also in charge of the MiG-21 Squadron. The father-daughter duo made history on May 30, 2022.
