Accused Mahantesh Shiruru was watching most of Chandrasekhar’s business. Chandrasekhar had made assets worth crores of rupees in his name. Also, the accused had asked why the property was to be paid after offering everything for Chandrasekhar. In a fit of rage, Manjunath and Mahantesh killed Chandrasekhar.

Shirur had acquired Chandrasekhar’s trust. However, the sale of one property for Rs 5 crore caused an uproar. As a result, Mahantesh was fired from his job and the murder took place due to a dispute over the same issue, according to the police investigation.
