New Delhi: The current President Ram Nath Kovind’s tenure will end on July 24. A farewell function has been organized for them tomorrow i.e. 23 July at Ashoka Hotel. Ram Nath Kovind has received many types of facilities during his tenure as President. This includes many facilities like salary of five lakh rupees per month, free medical services, travel facilities. Many of these facilities will continue to be available to Kovind even after his retirement.

Preparations for Ramnath Kovind’s retirement started from last month itself. After stepping down as President, Kovind will stay at 12 Janpath. This bungalow is one of the largest bungalows in Lutyens Delhi. Former Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan lived in this bungalow till his death. Kovind will move to 12 Janpath on July 25. Congress Interim President Sonia Gandhi lives at 10 Janpath. That means Kovind will soon become Sonia Gandhi’s neighbor.

After retirement, Kovind will get a pension of Rs 1.5 lakh per month. Secretary level staff and office will also get money. Ramnath Kovind will not have to pay rent for the rest of his life. After retirement, Kovind will get two landlines, a mobile phone and internet connection. Along with this, free electricity and water will be provided. A car and driver will also be at their disposal.

Ramnath Kovind will get two secretaries after retirement. Delhi Police will be deployed for their security. They will get free medical treatment for life. First class travel by rail and air travel will be free for them. One person accompanying them will also travel free. They will also get a fully equipped car to travel across the country. Kovind’s wife can be appointed as a secretary-level employee. For that they will get 30 thousand rupees per month.
