There have been many incidents of buildings collapsing due to space debris. However, till date there is no news of anyone dying due to space debris falling on earth. But whether it can happen is a big question.

According to scientists, the amount of man-made debris in space is increasing. The reason behind this happening is that many new rockets have been sent into space in the last few years. The number of satellites in space has increased significantly in the last 30 years. These satellites are falling to earth after becoming useless.

A new study has been published in the journal Nature Astronomy. That said, rockets, their parts, and old satellites (junk) coming from space will increase and in the future, space debris will become common on Earth, which may even kill someone.
The study also revealed that Jakarta, Dhaka, Lagos, New York, Beijing and Moscow are at the highest risk of such incidents. In the next ten years, 10 percent of people will be killed by rockets falling from space. This is not the case now, but it may happen in the next ten years.
