New Delhi: Today is the last day of the tenure of Chief Justice of the Supreme Court NV Ramana. On this occasion, on Friday N.V. Ramana addressed the working bench. In 16 months I have been able to hear only 50 days effectively and full time. Chief Justice Ramana apologized in his last working bench for not being able to focus on taking up cases listed for hearing early in his tenure. At this time the Chief Justice said, I am sorry.

It is believed that the meaning behind his statement was about the hearings that took place in the courtroom in the last 3 months during the purely physical hearing. Because, most of the hearings were held through video conference during his tenure. Chief Justice Ramana said, ‘I regret that I could not concentrate more on the list and posting of cases’.
