Cabinet Minister Govind Ram Meghwal said in a press conference in Jaipur that if there is any change regarding the post of Chief Minister, all party MLAs will resign for Ashok Gehlot. The manner in which 92 MLAs had submitted their resignations to the Assembly Speaker last Sunday. If the Chief Minister is selected from the pilot group, then a similar situation can be seen.
Before Govind Meghwal, State Health Minister Persadi Lal Meena had also made such a statement a few days ago. As there is a rebellion in the pilot group against the Ashok Gehlot government, none of the MLAs from the party is ready to accept him as the Chief Minister. A traitor like Pilot can never be accepted as Chief Minister. Only Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Ashok Gehlot are our leaders. Such statements made by ministers from the Gehlot group are said to be a pressure on the central leadership to keep Gehlot as the chief minister.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shanti Dhariwal, like Meghwal, has accused state in-charge Ajay Maken of favoring Pilot. Maken did not take action against MLA Ved Prakash Solanki, who is a staunch pilot supporter. Meanwhile, the central leadership has warned both Gehlot and Pytal leaders not to make statements against each other. If this happens, action has also been warned.
