Trinamool’s ‘now government’

With the West Bengal Assembly in mind, the Trinamool Congress has launched the ‘Duare Sarkar’ (Government at Your Doorstep) campaign. The purpose behind the campaign is to provide benefits to the citizens through various 11 welfare schemes of the state government. The contact campaign was launched on Tuesday. Through this campaign, the government system will go to the homes of the citizens and find out the problems of the people. From December 1 to January 29, camps will be organized in every village in the state. Citizens will be helped to get MGNREGA, job card, health card, caste certificate etc. Mamata Banerjee has directed all the district collectors to pay special attention to the civic service centers. It is planned to employ about 6800 employees at 3400 centers in the state.

BJP’s criticism

The BJP has criticized Mamata Banerjee’s campaign launched by the Trinamool Congress, calling it an election stunt. The criticism came from the party’s Twitter handle.
