Prime Minister’s Farmers Honors Fund

Under the eighth installment of the Prime Minister’s Kisan Sanman Nidhi announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, more than Rs 19,000 crore has been announced to nine and a half crore beneficiary farming families. Therefore, Rs.2000 will be deposited in the bank accounts of nine and a half crore farmers. Under this scheme launched by the Narendra Modi Government at the Center in December 2018, financial assistance of Rs. 6,000 per annum is given to small and marginal farmers in the country. The scheme benefits farmers with 2 hectares or less of land.
