Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a free hand to the authorities to do the right thing, saying that if Kovid was brought under control in their respective states and districts, the country would automatically be able to take control of the corona.
Addressing the officers as ‘Field Commander’, the Prime Minister said, ‘You are all leading this battle’ and made the officers aware of their responsibilities. The meeting was also attended by some state chief ministers.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the authorities made some suggestions regarding the ongoing battle against Kovid 19. Emphasis was placed on prevention of transition, especially in the suburbs and rural areas.
Stating that the divisional level officials have shown excellent leadership in many states and districts, the Prime Minister appreciated the officers and encouraged them.
The authorities carried out their responsibilities well and tried to prevent the infection by taking different steps. These ways need to be respected. This will lead to an effective response plan, the Prime Minister said.
