Covid19: Decline in Coronation but death toll still worrisome

New Delhi: The pace of the corona transition may be slow, but it seems to be slowing down. As per the information given by the Ministry of Health on Friday morning, 2 lakh 59 thousand 591 crore infected patients were found in the country on Thursday (May 20, 2021) while 3 lakh 57 thousand 295 patients were discharged in the same 24 hours.

In one day, 4209 people have lost their lives due to corona. So far, a total of 2 lakh 91 thousand 331 citizens in the country have lost their lives due to corona.

At the same time, the total number of coronary heart disease patients in the country has reached 26 million 31 thousand 991. However, so far 2 crore 27 lakh 12 thousand 735 patients in the country have succeeded in overcoming corona. At present 30 lakh 27 thousand 925 patients are undergoing treatment in the country.

A total of 19 crore 18 lakh 79 thousand 503 doses of vaccine have been given so far during the ongoing vaccination campaign in the country. Of these, 14 lakh 82 thousand 754 vaccines were given on Thursday.

A total of 18 crore 58 lakh 09 thousand 302 doses of vaccine have been given so far during the ongoing vaccination campaign in the country. Of these, 13 lakh 12 thousand 155 vaccines were given on Wednesday.

According to the Medical Research Council of India (ICMR), a total of 32 crore 44 lakh 17 thousand 870 samples have been tested in the country till May 20, 2021. Of these, 20 lakh 61 thousand 683 samples were tested for corona on Thursday.
