New Delhi: Pfizer, a well-known US pharmaceutical company, has asked the central government to allow the vaccine. Pfizer said that the ‘Pfizer’ corona vaccine is also useful for children above 12 years of age.

Experts believe that the new form of corona virus found in India is responsible for the second wave of infections spreading across the country. The company claims that the Pfizer vaccine is “very effective” in fighting the mutants found in India.

The Pfizer vaccine is beneficial for people over 12 years of age. The company also says that the vaccine can be safely stored in a cold storage facility for up to a month at a temperature of up to eight degrees Celsius.

The US giant has asked the Indian government to approve fast-track use of the vaccine. The company has also promised to provide five crore doses between July and October if it is exempted from compensation or compensation claims in case of adverse events.
