Delta Plus has 22 patients in the country

There are 22 cases of Delta Plus coronavirus in the country. Of these, 16 patients are from Maharashtra and the rest are from Kerala and Madhya Pradesh, the Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday.

‘The Delta Plus virus has been found in ten countries around the world so far. That includes India, ‘said Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan at a press conference. The virus has also been found in the United States, Britain, Portugal, Switzerland, Japan, Poland, Nepal, China and Russia. “The virus is a cause for concern right now,” Bhushan said. Bhushan also suggested that Maharashtra, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh should take immediate steps to curb the spread of the virus.
