Chandigarh: Police have registered a case of treason against 100 farmers in connection with the alleged attack on the Haryana Assembly Deputy Speaker’s car. More than 100 farmers attacked the official vehicle of Deputy Speaker Ranbir Gangwa against the new agriculture laws of the central government. It is alleged that the car was vandalized.
The incident took place on July 11 in Sirsa, Haryana. On the same day, an FIR was lodged against the attackers under the Sedition Act.
